Both large and small groups can be accommodated. Hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, and
dinner are served in a delightful air-conditioned atmosphere where the chairs are made from beer barrels and a nautical
theme abounds. Breakfasts may include a Jamaican style ($4), continental with egg, bacon or ham, and fruit plate ($5),
or omelets ($4). Lunch choices may be salad, sandwiches, fried chicken, or catch of the day (prices starting at $3).
Chicken specialties, seafood, fish, pork, beef, lamb, and lobster dishes provide an array of tasty delights (prices
starting at $8). Credit cards accepted.
Fern Hill Club Restaurant
Guests enjoy not only delectable authentic Jamaican dishes but a spectacular view. The restaurant is open
throughout the day. The open-air restaurant overlooks the sea and countryside. The veranda is enveloped by
colorful flora.
Jamaica Palace Restaurant
As one would imagine in this grand hotel, the restaurant follows suit.
The dining is elegant with a large array of lavish dishes. Enjoy European and Jamaican dishes served in one of
the many dining rooms. Dining is elegant but informal; service is superior.
Uncle Lenny's Restaurant 876 913-1680
Located in a community called Castle on the main road just before Priestman’s Bridge, is a fabulous restaurant,
called Uncle Lenny’s. Your host, Uncle Lenny, serves authentic Jamaican food here. The selections for the day
are listed on a chalkboard menu, which may include chicken, goat, lamb, and beef all cooked in a way, as only
Uncle Lenny knows how. I love the chicken chop suey and always the sour sop juice. Whenever you have the
opportunity to sample any of the dishes and drinks of the island, a treat is in store. Prices are very reasonable
starting about $4 and the servings are large.
Sweet Daddy's Restaurant & Bar 876 913-7086
Sweet Daddy has moved away for a while, but not to worry because his Sweet Mama, known as Mama Lue taught him everything
that he knew about cooking in the first place. Sitting close to the seashore in Long Bay, Sweet Daddy’s restaurant,
continues a long tradition of serving up some of the finest Jamaican Cuisine. The menu consists of salt fish, steamed fish,
lobster, dolphin, chicken, roast beef, and goat. All cooked to order. All with traditional peas and rice on the side. Prices
starting at $3. Open 7 days a week from 6am to 12 midnight, Mama Lue and her sister, Bernese, serve up great food and
friendship.
Painter & Cynthia's Restaurant & Bar
Winnifred Beach has it all, and that includes great food. A Bamboo Restaurant awaits with its doors open to serve you
taste bud tantalizing foods. The menu always includes fish and chicken cooked over an open pit. Side items include
vegetables and their wonderful Festival (sweet cornbread sticks) Prices start around $4 per plate. The bar has a variety
of soft drinks and local beers. Open daylight beach hours.
Yahimba Restaurant
Relax beside the ocean and enjoy authentic Jamaican cuisine and a Red Stripe Beer. The menu consists of all
the local favorites: chicken, fish, and lobster served with wonderful side dishes.
